After a short break it's time to come back to the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge. Our colour prompt this week is Pale Blue Base, and my pattern - splatters. Now, you must know that I've never tried splatter manicure before, simply bacause I prefer to paint more specific patterns. But since it wast my task this week I thought it's a good enough reason to try it. I knew you do the splatters with a straw, but I watched a tutorial on You Tube just to make sure I do it right. After I watched it, I still thought it was super easy and quick, so I merrily tried it and... nothing happened. I tried to do it many times and the only thing that happened was that I spit a little on my nail. Not my biggest achievement. But that's not the best part of the story behind the nails - I complained to my boyfriend that I'm not good enough to master this technique or, in fact, do anything with it, and he came to help me think of a reason why it wasn't working. He asked me how to do it, grabbed a straw, dabbed it in nail polish, blew, and... got a perfect splatter! After he left I tried to do some more straw splatters but apparently I'm just not able to do it. Eventually I gave up, and what you can see in this post are a bit fake splatters made with acrylic paints and a brush instead of polishes and a straw, but I love the effect anyway, and it reminds me of my friend's, Monika Shaded, paintings.
Żeby uniknąć upaćkania sobie całych palców, użyłam White Peel Off Liquid Tape od Born Pretty Store.
To prevent having my whole fingers covered in nail polishes or paint I used White Peel Off Liquid Tape from Born Pretty Store. I like it much more than the previous one, mainly because it remains white even when its dry. Also, it dries much faster than the other one, but they both smell just lovely, like nice hand cremes,

OdpowiedzUsuńPiękny kolor tego Evelinka, a ciapajki tylko dodały mu uroku. Ja też próbowałam bezskutecznie plutego mani - brakuje mi pary w płucach :)
